Back to school...

Ok, so it has been a while again. School started this week so things are starting to get back to normal. Pete is in 3rd grade and has a nice teacher, even though he did get a big homework pack on the very first week... So I have been trying to get back to my regular schedule where I get to bed by 11 and wake up early (6am). It has kind of worked. During the summer we just drove the kids to school, so I slept in a little, did my workout then shower after we dropped the kids off. Now we are back to walking so I have to wake up a lot earlier to get my workout in and a shower before we have to be out the door at 8:05. The first couple days I did get up early, workout and even shower, but this week is still pretty hot so we got home pretty sweaty. By Wednesday, I had a harder time getting out of bed and didn't want to shower just to get all sweaty agin, so I solved that problem by getting my workout done, walk to school, then just shower when I got home. Works alright, but Monday sure was nice getting everything done so early. A few of my friends' oldest started kindergarten this week too, so I spent a little time thinking aout that. First of all, I still can't believe my little boy is in THIRD GRADE. Then I thought about when he started, it doesn't even seem that long ago. David and i both walked Pete to school, took a bunch of pictures and was so excited. It was so cute to see my friends the same way with their kidergarteners. This brings me back to the present, I didn't bring a camera, haven't for a couple years, and have only a handful of pictures since Kindergaten. Once again just shows the difference between the first, then every subsequent time after that. Well that brings an end to my back to school ramblings, I will leave you with a pic of my little boy starting kindergarten (since that is all I have, hehe).
